1099 Independent Contractor Opportunity – Fraud Prevention Specialist

We are currently seeking independent contractors to support fraud prevention and account security services. This is a 1099 contract position. Drug testing is required.

What You Will Do

Monitor and analyze account activity to identify potential fraud indicators

Respond to customer inquiries related to fraud prevention, detection, and resolution

Assist with emergency card replacement, emergency cash replacement, and telephone-based card activation

Block lost or stolen cards and support fraud-related account actions

Provide outbound notifications regarding card stoppages

Review transactions and spending history to assess the likelihood of fraud

Verify account activity and obtain supporting information from cardholders

Document findings clearly, accurately, and in compliance with procedures

Coordinate cross-referrals with fraud management teams and value-added services

Capabilities of Top-Performing Service Partners

Experience in financial services and/or fraud detection (preferred)

Knowledge of chargeback regulations and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) processes (a plus)

Strong ability to follow established workflows and compliance requirements

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Intermediate computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems

1099 Customer Service Agent – Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT)

Schedule Requirement: Mondays only – 4 hours (8 intervals)

Role Overview:
Handle inbound calls from members needing transportation to and from medical appointments. Some callers may be distressed, so patience and empathy are essential. This role offers a chance to make a real impact on members’ healthcare access.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist members with scheduling and resolving transportation needs

Document and resolve trip issues, including missed or failed rides

Enter accurate trip data into systems

Educate members on benefits and eligibility

Follow all company procedures and collaborate with internal teams

Ideal Candidate:

1099 independent contractor

Prior customer service experience (healthcare preferred)

Comfortable in a fast-paced, back-to-back call environment

Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills

Patient, empathetic, and stress-resilient

Typing speed of 35 WPM or higher

Able to follow workflows and use function keys (training provided)

Best suited for agents available and committed to servicing Mondays.
